OUR PACKAGING

Plastics can interfere and deteriorate the delicate properties of spices and herbs over time. That's why we've chosen glass as this is the best (and proven) material that provides maximum protection to your herbs and spices. Our labels are made from recycled paper and printed with soy ink rather than chemically-produced inks. We do not use any non-recyclable materials in our product and postal packaging.

WHAT'S FOR THE FUTURE?

Our future plan is to transition into flexible packaging i.e pouches as they are lighter and cheaper to send = better for the environment and you.

Pouches with a plastic outer layer and inner aluminium layer offer the best UV protection, however they are notoriously difficult to recycle as they can mostly only be recycled at recycle centres, rather than at home. We're currently on the search for environmentally-friendly pouches and will get there eventually!
